Fellowes Family
Looking for descendants of the Fellowes / Fellows/ Harris / Baker family from Rye, Pett, Hastings, Fairlight, Westfield, Icklesham & Battle. As I have traced the family as far back to 1655 and they're also descendants also in Australia which start 1838 Richard Fellowes and Hannah Harris as we are wanting to know more about these families. Willing to share some information on the fellowes.

To Frank Tongue, found your interest in the Buffard Family, George Cronk=Mary Ann Buffard. My GGM was Ann Buffard 18/12/1849 died 19/8/1919. I have 2 Mary Ann's but not yours. I live about 7 miles from Guestling and Fairlight. Have a lot of Buffards the name was originally Bovis and they were smugglers.

Family History
Seeking information on George Cronk who married a Mary Ann? George was born about 1828 and Mary Ann about 1831 in Guestling. The 1841 Census for Guestling shows him as a Rail Labourer aged 22 and Mary aged 20yrs. We guesstimate that they were newlyweds and wondered if their were any Marriage details in church records. Or maybe a family who are also researching the Cronk family in this area. On the 1861 Census they were living in South East London at Camberwell and we have been able to obtain fairly substantial information from thereon. Many thanks.
